The adventures of Jack Jack

The adventures of a first time Mummy and my son Jack.

What’s the story?

What’s the Story? is a link up with fellow bloggers where you talk about a photo of your own, so I thought I’d give it a go.

My What’s the Story? is Jack’s first visit to Santa. After waiting till he was 15 months for Jack’s first steps he was raring to go when we went to Lincoln Christmas market a few weeks ago. We paid a visit to Clarkes to get him some new shoes and then let him loose on the streets of Lincoln, on reins of course.

We strolled round the market, well my fiance and mum did I spent most of the time trying to steer my toddler and being completely unsuccessful. We ate roasted chestnuts next to the castle and treated ourselves to some hot chocolate and a carton of juice for Jack, we had heard that because of the high winds that day Santa’s grotto wasn’t open but Santa himself was wondering around the market and we set out to find him.

After removing Jack from behind several stalls and stopping a million times for him to try and give his bear Brewer to random people we finally found Santa. I don’t think Jack was very impressed with this strange old man in a red suit and even less impressed when Santa asked his Grandma if she had been naughty :O.

  1. Lovely post Kate and thank you for joining #whatsthestory – welcome! It’s funny how they react to that man in the red suit isn’t it. Our almost 3 year old went yesterday and was more interested in his grotto! The look on Jack’s face is priceless!

My goal with this blog is to offend everyone in the world at least once with my words… so no one has a reason to have a heightened sense of themselves. We are all ignorant, we are all found wanting, we are all bad people sometimes.
