Sunday 6th July was Jack’s second birthday and I had spent months buying his presents to spread out the cost and lots of preparation. The night before was spent writing up a last minute competition thanks to our internet going down, so by his birthday morning Mummy needed a few coffees to get going. No problem because we left Jacks main present in the living room for him to discover when he woke up.
Delighted with his new car, Jack was happily scooting around the living room while I enjoyed my coffee.
Right Mummy’s awake, lets get dressed and ready to go to Nanny and Grandad’s house for your party little man.
Its not everyday you see 3 teenagers pretending to camp out in Jacks new den.
Back home Jack was eager to set up his new den and loves having his own little space, or hobbit hole as I like to call it 🙂
I still can’t quite get over the fact my baby is now 2 and starting nursery in September, hes growing up so fast. He recently started to say I love you when we share a cuddle and is developing a sense of humour that never fails to put a smile on my face.
In other news Jack has started potty training, cue lots of puddles of pee and a fair few loads of washing.
The rollercoaster ride that is motherhood 🙂
