The adventures of Jack Jack

The adventures of a first time Mummy and my son Jack.

Huggalugs leg warmers

Huggalugs are arm and leg warmers for babies and young children. They can be worn up to the hip on babies and toddlers, up to the knees on older children and as arm warmers by adults. All from the same pair of Huggalugs because they are so stretchy and durable. Leg warmers are great for protecting delicate knees while crawling, keeping little legs warm, for showing off cloth nappies and during potty training making it easier for the child to be independent.

Jack and I were sent a pair at a special discounted price to try out, I had heard good things about leg warmers and even though they are seen as girls clothing they can also be worn by boys. We choose the ay ay pirate leg warmers but they do many different designs for all occasions for both girls and boys.

Jack has just learnt to walk so nappy changes are a nightmare as all he wants to do is carry on toddling. Huggalugs helped solve the problem of getting trousers on and off while trying to stop him toddling off. All I need to do is undo his vest and then the nappy which I can do one handed while holding onto him. The designs has started to fray a little at the knees as Jack likes to bounce along on his knees but the material itself is still strong.

Created by a working mum who became frustrated at the lack of designs or quality of the leg warmers on the market, Huggalugs are designed to last your child through infancy and beyond. Available from many online and high street shops we bought our Huggalugs from the lovely Sabrina at Nappykind boutique for a pocket friendly £7.99.
